At Wisey (operated by Wise Little Souls B.V.), we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. If you would like to delete your account or request the deletion of your personal information, you can do so by following the instructions below.

How to Request Data Deletion

  1. Send us an email
    Please email us at support@get-wisey.com from the email address associated with your Wisey account.
    Include the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”.

  2. What happens next

    • We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days.

    • Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain certain information (for example, for tax or compliance purposes).

  3. Data we delete

    • Account information (name, email, contact details)

    • Sub-accounts (child profiles)

    • Reading history and usage data

    • Communication data (messages, feedback, notes)

  4. Data we may need to retain
    In limited cases, we may retain certain data where legally required (e.g., payment transaction records for tax purposes). Such data will only be stored as long as required by law.

Bij Wisey (onderdeel van Wise Little Souls B.V.) respecteren wij jouw privacy en geven wij je volledige controle over je persoonsgegevens. Wil je je account of jouw gegevens laten verwijderen, volg dan de onderstaande stappen.

Hoe vraag je verwijdering aan?

  1. Stuur ons een e-mail
    Mail naar support@get-wisey.com vanaf het e-mailadres dat aan je Wisey-account is gekoppeld.
    Gebruik als onderwerp: “Verzoek tot gegevensverwijdering”.

  2. Vervolgstappen

    • Binnen 5 werkdagen ontvang je van ons een bevestiging van je verzoek.

    • Jouw account en persoonsgegevens worden binnen 30 dagen permanent verwijderd, tenzij wij wettelijk verplicht zijn bepaalde gegevens langer te bewaren (bijvoorbeeld voor belastingdoeleinden).

  3. Welke gegevens verwijderen wij?

    • Accountinformatie (naam, e-mail, contactgegevens)

    • Subaccounts (kinderprofielen)

    • Leesgeschiedenis en gebruiksdata

    • Communicatiegegevens (berichten, feedback, notities)

  4. Welke gegevens kunnen wij moeten bewaren?
    In beperkte gevallen moeten wij bepaalde gegevens bewaren indien wettelijk verplicht (bijvoorbeeld betaalgegevens voor belasting). Deze gegevens bewaren wij uitsluitend zolang als wettelijk noodzakelijk is.
